What frugal things did you and your family do this weekend?

Well we aren't going anywhere since we are having a big snowstorm!!! I am going to work tomorrow, so I should make money, not spend it this weekend.

We aren't going anywhere and eating homemade foods.

We will be bad next weekend because Chipolte opened 5 minutes down the road from us. They are slammed this week so we're waiting a week.

eating leftovers for dinner and DH is putting plastic up over the windows, whole-house fan, attic opening, etc. We have T-giving leftovers in the freezer, along with leftovers from two dinners this week. Between both, we should have a feast tonight and I don't have to cook!

Well, I am about to make cookies. And I just bought 4 books for my little one on Overstock.com (throught mypoints) with some paypal money I earned from surveys. Woohoo!

We are staying home, I'm cooking dinner tonight (crockpot clam chowder) that should last us through this weekend (and then some), and we are decorating the tree, i'm wrapping gifts, and piddling around the house....no money spent this weekend, hopefully.

We won't be going anywhere except the library to return some books that are due tomorrow, and eating out of my pantry. I have told myself to not go to any stores. And my DS wants to decorate the house more so we are going to get out some paper and crayons and scissors and go at it.

We will stay home this weekend because it is snowing. DH is working all weekend so that is good. He cant make any money if he is at home sitting on his butt! I am going to make two more batches of cookie dough to freeze for my Christmas baking. Plus I have some chocolate chip oatmeal dough already froze from last month, think I will take it out and make those after dinner.
The kids are actually picking up their playroom!!! I think later we will go outside and play in the snow.
I am going to go get two newspapers so I can do my couponing. I got all my errands done yesterday, so I will not be using any gas, except to drive three blocks to get newspapers.
