I haven't spent 1 cent in cash yet. Most of the stuff I've bought has been online, so it's charge card all the way for me!!! But we do pay it all off when the bill comes....does that count?!?

paid off when the CC comes. We try really, really hard to only buy with cash for Christmas. This year has been hard, though, because our Christmas fund is pretty light this year.

We do have our credit cards up, but we used cash for our Christmas gifts. DH gets a stipend a few times a year and it came in this weeks check. Plus, I work full time, although all of my money goes to the mortgage (we live in N.E.)

I went over board with the credit cards last year, so this year - it has all been cash/debit card! What keeps me in check? Reminding myself that I don't want to hear my husband complaining when the bill comes in!!!!

We have always paid cash. We don't have good enough credit to get a decent credit card. And I wouldn't want to make things worse buy using any of those cards with horrible interest and fees. It is good, if we can't afford it, we don't get it.

It was " cash" for us this year. I already am done. They didn't get a lot. I set a 200.00 limit on all 3 kids and I had 600.00 put away in another checking acount and I got everything online using the debit card associated with it.

We did too! It feels so good not to have to worry about paying for it later. We just stayed within a strict budget of $25 or less per person including tax. (We have a lot of people to buy for.) That included the kids too but they get so many gifts from other people that we don't need to get them much.

Yes, that counts. As long as you can pay it off when the bill comes.

We did! I started saving in March so that I could. I only had a set amount and had to stick to it. I already started putting money back into that savings account for next Christmas so I won't have to pinch as much next year.
