Yahoo is on a roll with Christmas articles this morning!

The Dos and Don'ts of Regifting - Yahoo! News

For the most part I think we may of covered all of these in past posts- but since it is getting closer to Christmas and we may want to regift things- here a few of the "cardinal rules".

I love that it points out that it's NOT okay to regift things with pit stains

this year my mom and i were talking and we have a lady that is like a grandmother to me and a 2nd mom to my mom, she and her hubby (grandpa) come over every christmas morning to my mom and dad's and eat christmas brunch with us after my family gets done opening gifts. We normally get them alittle something, but we dont all do a big gift exchange. This year mom said she was looking for an I love lucy Dvd set, or a nice puzzle for her...i did not know she loved puzzles up until this point.---my aunt got me an I love lucy puzzle like 3 years ago and I have never touched it, never looked at it, and it is just sitting in our game closet waiting for some love! so i told my mom about it and she said that was a great idea....I was really excited because i am sure that puzzle was not cheap and i hate waste! so i am glad it is going to a good home!

Haha...I had to laugh at the title of this post. Another big no-no is TELLING someone it's a regift. Believe it or not, my sis told me years ago that the present she was sending for my daughter's b-day had been received by HER daughter who already had it (it was a game), so she was sending it on to mine. And to top it off, she only wrapped the game in a paper bag to send across country to us, so it was smashed when it arrived and we couldn't even exchange it.
