Well I had to pay the over $200 phone bill. Grrr... It was overdue. But nothing other than that. I made my menus but I'm not sure we'll have enough for it all. We'll see. I have a dinner party that I want to make a pot roast for so I hope I will have enough.

Nothing, stayed at home and cleaned for company. Tomorrow will be another story as we are going to the science museum. Grandparents have gotten us a family pass as a present!!! Will have to pay for gas, parking(reduced), and groceries for the weekend. I am working this weekend and will have to fightt the temptation for convenince foods

Well, this was a bummer.

I spent money yesterday on light bulbs for recessed lighting--gets expensive. We are having a party this weekend, so I needed to get them.
Today I turned on the light, bulb blew AGAIN! Total bummer.

This weekend I have to buy the last few items for the party Sunday night. Luckily, it is a potluck deal, so no food items from me. We just supply the house (and paper products).

I only spent money on my mom's christmas gift, which I believe is allowed on this challenge. I have two more people to buy for, but otherwise, don't anticipate having to spend too much extra money outside of christmas gifts this weekend.
I really have to work on this in the new year though.

$0 here! We did go out - took DH to get his ID photo retaken and I had a WIC appointment. I even went to the store to get my WIC stuff and walked out with ZERO extra things! I was starving too - I would have loved to just swing by BK, but home we went. And this morning I paid $115 on our credit card bill! That felt great!!

I was VERY bad yesterday, but hopefully the fact that I have to account for myself online will help me in the future. I was on some boring conference calls at work and did some shopping . . .

$76 at Sketchers - although I did get two pairs of shoes I've been wanting for a year and 1000 mypoints
$3.97 a VHS for my daughter for Christmas - I bought it used online instead of new!
$11.61 Victoria's Secret - the great deal that was posted on this board with the booties and a ton of free stuff!
$11.30 classroom gift for my daughter's preschool - although I normally would have spent $20 on a giftcard and I ended up buying an actual gift instead for $9 less!
$6.00 at Sam's club for a pretzel, smoothie, drink (no excuse here, just bad!)
$60 at Sam's club - stocked up on hamburger, juice boxes for lunches and candy for my husband's Xmas gifts to his kids (teacher)

So, I spent a ton, although except for the Sketchers and the Sam's Club snack I at least got great deals on stuff I had to buy anyways!

Hopefully today will be better - it's my daughter's Christmas program and we are going out to dinner afterwards with my parents, but will hopefully be using a giftcard!

12/13

Spent 37.89 at Target for 8 containers for DH, Advil, baby wipes, chocolate (for me), and a Bday present for my daughter to take to her friends house. Hopefully today will be a better day, so far I haven't spent anything!

This is a really good topic. It helps to have people to be accountable to.

I didn't spend anything yesterday.
