I have been doing well with the FTJ project. Except for the one $27 Target 90% off Christmas setback , I have stuck to my approved spending list.

Today we are making breaded catfish for dinner and I am out of hush puppy mix to dredge it in.

To keep with the project have decided to make my own instead of rushing out to buy some. Wish me luck with this, I have never done it before.

Well...I was out of cornmeal as well so we just baked it with cajun seasoning!

At least I didn't cave and run out for hush puppy mix.
