I had to laugh. I hate buying underwear so badly! My parents ended up giving me money to buy Christmas presents for myself from them (they were at a loss for me this year) and I still went to the clearance rack at Target. I was so excited to open up 3 pairs of undies that "they" gave me! he he he! DH just shook his head!

Your post made me laugh! I think I'm worse... I just bought underwear a couple years ago after waiting almost 6-7 years to buy new ones! I had pretty good undies from Victoria's Secret and just held on to them. I am so frugal that I always think of something else--anything else--to buy than my own underwear! But my DH and my boys get new underwear every year, at the least. It's just me that waits. I have yet to find a really good pair that fits well, anyhow. The VS pairs were good, but I am not even sure if they make them anymore. The latest pairs I bought were just basic ones from Walmart, and they're not too great.

As for the bra issue, well, I've had 2 sons and nursed them both, so I was practically forced to buy new bras for my ever-changing shape. But if you look in my bra drawer, I bet you'd still be able to find some that were 10 years old!

This is so funny. I just bought new undies a few weeks ago.

I was a huge VS fan...BEFORE kids...now all those undies stay in the bottom of my drawer. I now wear girls boxers and girls boxerbriefs. DANG I couldn't believe how chillin I felt for paying $5/pr for girls boxers and $5/3pack. I was panicing! lol

FWIW, I got a bra fitting last year at Lane Bryant and it was a godsend - talk about wearing the wrong size!!! Ouch. It was painful to see that size, but the ones I got are so comfy - they have worn wonderfully and they were so worth it.

I do not work there, nor do I have any interest in Lane Bryant - but they are currently having their annual sale on bras and underwear. Go!!!
