All I know is that every time I walk into Walmart, it seems like my bill is $100 - no matter how many (or how few) things are on my list. Oftentimes, things (especially fresh fruits and vegetables) are not as cheap as other local grocery stores. I have really started watching sales papers to make sure I am getting the most for my money.

That just seems so racist of walmart to do that. My In-laws do not like walmart at all. I shop there at times because there are deals and they match all of the local ad's in the area. We have 9 different grocery stores and instead of going to different stores for sales, I can go there and get it all price matched. My husband would never buy a big ticket item at walmart like a tv. I have been trying to avoid walmart, I just spend too much money when I go there, same thing with target!

we have 2 walmarts in the town 20 miles away from us. and one walmart will have sales on certain things and the other won't have a sale. So If i buy something and return it without a reciept i make sure its at the walmart I bought it at because the one I shop at seems to be cheaper and have more sales. I was told it was because they get their products from different walmart factories since they are ownded by two different people. I also noticed that the clothes, shoes and kids stuff is very different variety at each of them. they never seem to sell the same stuff. So weird to me.....

This happens at all kinds of stores!!! It's the same thing at our grocery stores (HEB where I live). There is a huge price range depending on which store you shop at, especially for fresh fruits and veggies. The stores base their prices on the area of the store and the income of the people that live in that area!!!

Our Wal-Mart just switched to a Super Wal-Mart and I swear they have less than they did when they were a regular WAL-MART. I don't know about that place...
