Yes, I'm trying to shop once a week and not go into any stores besides that. At first I thought it would be hard but my kids are both gone to school and I'm working on cleaning out closets/rooms etc. so I'm busy. I've just been making a list of anything I think we "need" on the refrigerator and then I'll get it all when I shop next week. The cool thing is I've scratched several "needs" off that list because I find a solution in someone elses room that will work or I found my mom's birthday cards from last year that I never used so now I don't have to go buy any for next week! It also helps some that when my ds who is four gets off the bus at noon the last thing he wants to do is shop---he wants to stay home and play!
