I've been hit with some medical bills AGAIN and am working through the stockpile to reduce spending. I know a lot of you are on a spending freeze.

I got to wondering what other people have got stockpiled right now? I realized that we could basically live off of cereal I must have about 10 boxes there. Also marshmallows - not sure why I got so many, lots of pb and j, and bizarrely - a huge amount of 3 bean salad which must've seemed like a good idea at some point. And lots and lots of cake mixes from all the Publix BOGO sales. And finally a good deal of pasta types - but no sauce???

My freezer is pretty empty. I'm thinking I might have a cereal buffet one night or something....

Show us your stockpile!

3 boxes of pasta
3 jars of pasta sauce
1 box tea
3 boxes of crackers
big bag oatmeal
12 cans veggie soup

WOW...What a question.... I will list until I get tired. I buy when i can get things really cheap or free and I do give a lot but I try to keep a full pantry because we have months that we do what you are doing living on it because of other expenses. For example my husband gets paid only once a month and in he gets paid early Dec 20th and then doesn't get another check until Jan 31!! UGH!!! I hate that!!!! That is our DRY spell!!!!!!! Over 40 days without a paycheck stinks ESPECIALLY since it right around Christmas!!!! We are living on our stockpile now. I will jump for joy when we get paid Jan 31st!! And I have learned after 20 years of marriage to only stockpile what I will use.

Anyway...
8 jars of Pasta Sauce
12 boxes of cereal
Loads of can food
ABout 20 cans of different soups
10 boxes of Hamburger helper
10 boxes of Stove top Dressing
5 boxes of crackers
6 or 7 peanut butters
probably 20 jars of homemade salsa, 20 applebutter, jams and jelly that I canned
cake mixes, muffin mixes
a couple of bags of dry beans, rice, cornmeal, flour
10 lbs ground beef.
10 pounds of pork chops
11 pounds of chicken breast
2 pkgs of stew meat pieces (going to make Veggie soup this weekend!)
1 20lb butterball turkey
In the freezer is a Baked Spagetti I made this week and a Chicken casserole I made. When I make something I always try to make an extra if I can stretch the stuff so I can put one in the freezer
I also have about 3 rolls of sauage
2 bags of Ore Ida hashbrowns & 2 of french fries
1 beef roasts
a couple of pie shells
A whole bunch of waffles that my husband made up and we froze for breakfasts for our kids.
4 more boxes of Aunt Jemina Pancake mix
6 Bottles of AJ syrup Lite & original
2 log Cabin syrups
We had some coupons and hit a sale and we got the pancake mix for like 30 cents and we bought 6 boxes and then we paid like 50 cents each for AJ syrup. We make pancakes and waffles up on a Saturday and them freeze them and them do it again when we run out..SAVES ALOT
about 10 bags of different pastas
That is most of my stock pile that I have been dwindling down.
My mom taught me to be frugal, keep a full pantry in case of come what may and how to cook the old fashion way.
Worse comes to worse I can even make homemade bread if I have to.

Also I am on a spending freeze also right now and thanks to my stockpile It will be easier to be successful at it.

Good Luck write me if you need to nightwritingjoyce@yahoo.com
