Those of us doing FTJ are all looking for frugal activities to do instead of spending money... Volunteer! A lot of places have higher numbers of people willing to donate their time during Christmas, but then it falls off the rest of the year.

DD and I all stock shelves at the church food pantry every Friday and when DH is off, he helps too.

Find a way to spend your time helping others...instead of just spending it spending.

I haven't given that much thought but that is a great idea.
