I am feeling kinda good because I sat down last night and paid off all of the christmas stuff we put on credit cards plus we paid off 2 medical bills, one for a dentist visit, and opne for our dog when she was hit by a car this past november. I am closing each account as it is paid off with the exception of one and that will only have a 200 dollar limit on it really for "emergencies" so we will be able to pay off our biggie card. I was also frugal today in that I packed my lunch and dinner for work, made up some other "frozen dinners" homemade for other work days, planned dinner for tonight by making veg soup and bread sticks out of what I have on hand, and packed dinner for dh who will leave this evening for work while I am still at work.
I am kinda nervous because all day today on the news I am hearing all the yuck economy stuff and it makes me glad to be paying bills off. I want to keep that up. You never know what the future will bring.
I am kinda crazy because ....well.... I just am as a general rule, plus both dh and I are trying to go back to school while He works parttime with a fulltime school schedule, I work fulltime with a parttime school schedule, and we are reaising teenagers! ONe to graduate this year. Add 2 dog, 2 cats, and life in general and you can see why I am nuts!!!!!. Anyway, just wanted to share a productive day. HOpe yours is as well.

You sound a little like me in the last part. I've got a 15 year old daughter, work full time day job and am going to school 3 nights a week (accounting degree). My DH is also working full time and will be starting school part time in May. Busy! That degree will really pay off for me in the end though - the salary for accountants is huge where I live. I have a long way to go yet though, sigh.

It is a relief paying the medical bills. I paid some last night and a few more today. I have a bit left but at least I know I've got a handle on it, which is usually NOT the case...

It's a great feeling when you get a lot done. I often pray that I will be productive.
