Just selling stuff around the house!! It's killing my husband but it's all going on a medical bill. I told him that it was worth not having the stress of one of those! I think he's agreeing with me -- at least he didn't verbally protest it.

BTW Craig's List is pretty dang cool!

That is awesome. We have sold a few big items on Craigslist with great success, but I haven't ever sold anything under a couple hundred bucks. I always just donate it all to Goodwill since we have a dropoff a mile away. But my 2 1/2 year old has outgrown so many of his baby things that I started a pile to give away and just couldn't do it. I started gathering it all up and putting it in the storage room. There are 2 Peg Perego strollers, a very expensive high chair, a jogging stroller with lots of life still left in it, a baby bjorn, a baby backpack, a bumbo seat, a pack n play that we never even used, etc. - about 10 items. I dragged it all out this weekend and took pictures of it and we are going to put them on craigslist and see if anyone buys it. Even if we only get a hundred bucks, that is better than just giving it away, plus I will know that it is actually going to get used again. You give me hope that this stuff just might sell!

Way to go with the re-sell!

I have great luck with Craigslist. It usually only takes 24 hours to sell something. I've sold about 50 items. I sold almost all the baby gear on there. This week we sold a foosball table in a matter of hours. It was taking up too much space...boom.. craigslist and it is gone!

We have a wooden Barbie house and train table that I purchased from Craigslist. That stuff costs a fortune new.

Way to go! Usually I just take things to a consignment store, but I'm going to check into Craigslist now.

We just bought our first item off of Craigslist last week, got 2 Sony VCRs, in excellent cond. with remotes, for $20 for BOTH!!! I thought it was great, because for my DD's room, she has so many Disney VHS tapes and you can't just buy a VCR by itself anymore, without buying a VCR/DVD combo. Well we already have cheap dvd players, so this really worked out for us.
So, I tried listing a baby Bumbo seat, hoping it would sell, and I listed it for $25, but no luck...no one has even inquired. What do you guys think is a fair price? And does anyone know if there is a way to renew your ad, to bump it up, or do you have to delete it and make a new one?
