Soon grocery stores will have their SuperBowl sales and great prices on condiments, meat, cheese and pop. They also have good prices on chips (I put them into smaller ziploc bags for lunches).

Great thinking!!! None of my stores have any good sales going on this week, but the new grocery flyers come out on Wednesday. I bet you are totally right about some good sales coming up. Think I will clean out the fridge and freezers this week to make some room.

I do this kind of thing all the time! During the holidays, all of the baking mixes and baking chips...basically all of that stuff is on sale! I usually stock up on mustard, ketchup, and mayo during the summer. Ususally that's when all of the coupons come out for that stuff.

So anyhow..that's something else to keep in mind...not only shopping and stocking up with in season, but also keep in mind that you can get added savings w/ seasonal coupons!

I'm crossing my fingers and toes that you are right. I was really disappointed at Thanksgiving time - when I expected certain items to go on sale.

Keep the faith alive this time!

I had been anxiously awaiting good sales this week and I have been disappointed. Last year I got a lot of free stuff with coupons. This year I am not even going to the stores, there is nothing worth shopping for.
