DD and I just made a gingerbread Christmas tree that I got at Target for 99 cents when their Christmas stuff was 90% off. I also bought a bunch of the Crayola mixes for 28 cents that make christmas tree cakes and gingerbread cookies to decorate. She doesn't mind that they are out of season and it gives us something different to do when it is too cold to play outside, or in her case yesterday, is sick.

I also got a neat foam ornament kit for 19 cents that I will save for next year that makes 35 ornaments.

Don't forget to keep an eye out for these kinds of things at the after holiday sales we all like to frequent.

I got a bunch of the crayola mixes for 28 cents too!!! My two boys enjoy "cooking with mommy" and those kits are a lot of fun! They are Christmas themed, but the ones with the cookie cutters we use our own cutters too!
