HI

I have decied due to money contraints as thrifty as possible. This is the plan he wants a flag football party. I am going to let him invite 10 boys over to the house for his party.

I bought the party supplies from factory card outlet (football themed) on clearance for a total of $6.00.

I purchased 8 packs of food lion hotdogs for $8.00.

I am going to get a bag of chips, some lemonade. They are going to eat hot dogs, chips and drink lemonade.

Probably buy like 2 or 3 ballons from the dollar store.

For the flag football on freecycle someone was offering sports facbric 1 yard of it. So i am going to cut that into strips for the boys to tuck into the side of their pants.

I am going to make my own cake.

For his bday gift we have a raincheck from target for wii game mario olympics for $37.99
and super mario galaxy for $37,.00 . He will get one of those.

So hopefully i can do the whole party and gift for about $75 total. With $25 going to pay for the party stuff.

I am so excitied!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like you have done a great job planning out his party while being as frugal as you can. Good job.

That's awesome! My dd's birthday is next month, and I am also trying to go cheap. She wanted a Hawaiin themed party and I found a BUNCH of luau decorations at the dollar store. We're going to have cupcakes and pina coladas. (alcohol-free, of course! lol)

You'll have to let us know how the party goes and how much fun all those boys have!

I found a website where you can create your own WORDSEARCH! You choose the words and it will create the wordsearch, and since your doing football theme, I thought you can do a wordsearch for them reg. football. Not sure how old your DS will be, but it might be fun for them

Word Search
