Hello!
I had a question for Kroger shoppers. I read somewhere (I think on this forum) that you can go to Kroger.com and load coupons onto your plus card that are automatically applied when they scan your card???? I went on the site and could only figure out where you can print coupons from the site...am I missing something?

Also, I read on that same post (I think) that their Kroger doubles up to $1....on the website they say all stores double to 50 cents...I guess I need to call my store--is it up to the store as to how much they double up to?

Thanks! I am just doing lots of research trying to figure out the coupon game...I have tried using them before, but end up buying the store brands for cheaper....but I am looking at all these sites....couponmom.com--grocery game--etc...and trying to cut our grocery budget....

Any other ideas anyone has would be great too!!!!

Also, I hope to add more to my profile soon. I am new to the forum stuff, so I am learning!

This is the site where you load coupons onto your card:
P&G eSAVER

I'm not sure if you can use additional coupons on these same items, I haven't had the possibility come up yet.

Our Kroger refuses internet coupons, but weirdly the main website now offers them as you said, so I might push them on that. Ours only doubles up to 50 cents.

We have Fry's here in AZ. They carry Kroger brands so I am assuming they are connected. Our store doubles coupons up to $1. A couple times a year they also triple them up to $1. We also have an option of loading the coupons on our Fry's card but I haven't tried that yet.

Kroger used to allow you to load coupons till a couple months ago - now after they redesigned their website they do not allow it.

Our Kroger also does not double coupons more than 50 cents.

Our Kroger only doubles up to 50 cents but you can load coupons on the card. I would be careful though I have found that most of the items are cheaper at Wal-Mart even without a coupon.

My Kroger (King Soopers) doubles up to a $1 in value.
If the coupon is for .50, it will straight double another .50, for a total value of $1. If the coupon is for .75, it will double up to that $1 value, so an additional .25 cents, for a total discount of $1.

My King Soopers has never tripled coupons.

They also only accept 3 like coupons per purchase. So I can only buy 3 Ragu sauce and use 3 coupons at a time. What I normally do to get around this is just do mutliple transactions in groups of 3.

My Kroger (Ralphs) doubles up to $1 in value.

I do think there is a limit on how many coupons you can "store" on your card, and i don't think that you can use another coupon of the same item if you have one stored in your card. So my concern it the following: what happens if you want to use a paper coupon for a specific item and not the "stored" coupon on your card, would that be possible? Bec. if not, then you'd be missing out and you'd go crazy having to figure out which ones to store on the card, and which ones to delete everytime you go to the strore. UGH, i just rather print them. My Krogers has no problem with internet printed coupons.

I've loaded some coupons on my card from that site, but how on earth am I supposed to remember what I put on there? lol.
I go to Smith's (Kroger) and they don't double coupons at all.

I shop mainly at Kroger and I have never heard of loading coupons! Cool, but it sounds like I missed that boat if they have stopped doing it. Oh, and my Kroger doesn't double ANY coupons!
