I'm bumping this up. We're having spring break next week and I wanted to know if any of you have more ideas. BTW, I love the idea with the $200 budget.

We are working on the house over spring break. My kids are visiting their grandparents for a week. So, it is the perfect time to paint the hall and loft area upstairs and clean out the garage. DH and I are actually looking forward to being able to paint and clean alone!

Heck no! LOL We planned a Disney trip! But we are getting our hotel for free with dh's points so that is one point. And we are staying in a suite with a kitchenette so we plan on making our own meals as much as possible.

Yesterday we ran an errand and went to the park on the way back (it was almost warm enough!).

Today we are going to chickfila for a playdate. I will pack drinks and I have coupons.

Tomorrow is my daughter's birthday party at chuckecheese (not really frugal). I'm taking coupons for whatever we need outside of the party packages. We're making cupcakes today (cheaper and healthier than buying a cake). I have a helium tank and am blowing up balloons that I bought for .68 for 25 on clearance. I kept the goody bags frugal and non-junky.

I don't know about the weekend because it is supposed to rain. Hopefully we won't get rain the entire time and we can go outside to play. Maybe we'll go to the grandparents if it rains.

I found some more great ideas on this blog.

Frugal Family Activities for a Spring Break Vacation at Home | Frugal Dad

If only I had seen it before our spring break .. but it does give me some ideas for summer vacation.
