when we replace our minivan this year we are considering a mid sized sedan instead of buying another minivan. we can fit the car seat a high back booster and our oldest who uses a seat belt in the back of dh's 4 door saturn ls its not the most comfortable situation but hey it works and his car gets way better gas mileage than the minivan so its doable so a midsized would give us even more room than the little saturn.

We collect AMC cars! My dh's father was a service manager at an AMC dealership for a while. When my hubby and I first started dating, he was driving a baby blue Gremlin. He moved up to a orange, black and white Gremlin after we married. Since then, we've gone through many AMC cars. I even had a 4 door matador sedan for a while.....great boat of a car! Dh even runs an AMC fan website called The Coupe Coop!

Our current "roster" is a early 80's AMX, and two '76 Matador coupes. We haven't purchased a Pacer......yet.

LOL My sister bought a Pacer when they first came out!!! I remember riding in the very back (yeah, way before mandatory seat belts) and all the stares we used to get!

I would LOVE to have a BIG GIANT TRUCK!

REALITY CHECK!! I don't!!!

I have (and i like it) a small 4 door car, and dh drives a small toyota pick up single cabin (total gas saver!!). In todays economy... i would not change the cars we have right now! They have never had any major problems and are very reliable.

I drive an HHR, which gets about 28mpg. I bought it right after I had Riley because getting an infant seat in & out of a 2 door cavalier was NO fun! I drive about 16 miles a day so if I fill up I can usually go 2 weeks with out needing gas again.
