Yes!

When we moved into this house in June 2006, one of the first things dh did was build me a beautiful clothesline. Our backyard is very tiny, just a strip of grass behind the sidewalk that runs the length of the back of the house. The rest of the back "yard" is a steep heavily treed hill (we have .9 acre and most of the rest of theyard is on the sides of the house, so the kids have plenty of room to play) He built the clothesline on that strip of grass and made it just the right height that I could hang things without having to reach above my shoulders. It's wonderful.

I'm enjoying the weather right now in Texas — 70s! It's too humid here to dry clothes outside, plus my HOA does not allow clothes lines. I should get one of those movable clothes/towel drying racks for days that are less humid. I don't think anyone would complain about that.

yes, yes and yes!! My mom always hung our clothes outside in nice weather and that carried over for me, I love the smell of the laundry after they have been outside to dry, especially the bed sheets and blankets. And it saves so much money not running the dryer! I am so ready for spring to come and stay awhile. I have serious winter blues!!

yes because my dryer broke 2 weeks ago and I've been drying my laundry on coat hangers in my bedroom. It takes days to dry anything and I'm doing laundry for 6 people!

I refuse to buy a new dryer though, I will make do!

I love to hang clothes on the line. It's still a little too cold here, but not for long.

Yes!!! I'd need snow shoes to get to my clothes line now - but soon!!! There is nothing better than crawling into a bed that has been made with fresh, line-dried sheets. The smell is such a heavenly way to drift off to sleep. AND as a bonus, our electric bill drops significantly!

Yes, I can't wait to use my line, there is nothing like the smell of fresh, lined dried sheets when you get into bed at night.

I live in Amish country and they hang out laundry all year round and they do not care if it is sunny either. I just imagine how much my fingers would hurt!

I don't hang out my laundry.

What I am looking forward to is LESS laundry loads. Dh is 6'4" and I am 5'7" and both of us are overweight so our winter bulky clothes take up so much room in the washer!!!

I hang out whenever I can. I put two loads out the other day but now the weather has gone downhill again. I figured every load I hang out saves me $0.40 (more or less depending where you live).

That adds up fast!!
