If you're not watching the movies, you're paying for something you don't use. Cancel.
Others have suggested Redbox. It's a great alternative if you have them in your area. Many grocery stores have them, and I think you can return the movie to any Redbox location.
If you really, really want to cut movie expenses, try your local library.

We now use Redbox when we want to rent a movie. Do you have those where you live? It's $1 for 24 hours rental and they constantly send you e-mails with codes for freebies. My husband will usually rent one on Friday or Saturday and return it the next day. He's the big movie watcher, not me. We now spend about $5 a month on movie rentals!
the just put one of these machines in the supermarket by my house.
they are AWESOME!
I 1st discovered them when i went to go visit my sister in las vegas.
it is great.
for $1, you can have movie night with the kids, home made pizza,
very frugal "family" time!

In my personal opionion... if i wasn't using it, i would cancel it. On the other hand, if you have the money to give yourself and your family the treat of blockbuster movies, then you do have a good deal... and i would consider keeping it. Do find out if there are cheaper options, though. Like one post said, Netflixx is cheaper and you can always check if you have a redbox near your home. Good luck!

It really depends on where you live (close to a distribution center or not) and your volume of renting. Netflix throttled us for having to fast a turn around, we never had that problem with Blockbuster. So it's definitely one of those situations where you have to figure which one is right for you.

We just switched from Netflix-3 a month, to Red Box. There is one near my work, so I only get them when I KNOW we will sit and watch that night. I love it.

I live near Summeranne and we have one day turnaround with Netflix. They have opened up so many distribution centers that it works great!

If I were in your shoes, I would cancel. That is a lot of money for something you rarely use.
