ARG!! First I messed up on getting a $2.00 of your next shopping trip coupon. You had to buy 10 Delmonte products. Well, I had 8. I would have had 10 but the tuna I was going to buy was out of stock and I had to get a rain check. The cashier rang me up and said to talk to the customer service desk and that they'd be able to help me. Nope! Blah.

Then when I got home, I realized I had purchased a bunch of Delmonte stuff on sale and w/ coupons for that rebate AND a couple boxes of Post cereal for that rebate. And I didn't think about getting a couple extra copies of my receipt. So, I guess I'll have to run back to the store and pick up 2 more boxes of cereal for the receipt and then return them b/c I already took the UPCs off the original 2 boxes. BLAH!! SHEESH and now I remembered I bought oreos too. So I guess those go back too and I'll have to wait to make my oreo chocolates. I'M SO FRUSTRATED at the moment!

I did this last week, too. Don't feel bad. Okay, don't feel TOO bad!! I do understand, since I beat myself up all the way home! LOL I also bought groceries that tallied up $73 and change...and had a coupon for $5 if I had spent $75. Go figure the line was backed up and I couldn't even find a thing to grab just to save the money. I HATE it when my "good deals" get ruined!!

I blew it big time as well...I had a $10 off coupon for Vons/Safeway and forgot to take it with me!

my mother is the queen of getting things for free or so cheap its not funny. Nine times out of ten she will tell me about a freebie the day after I went out and bought it. If I try to get out of the house in a hurry ( so the kids dont notice im going ) I will almost always forget my coupons. The other day I went out for diapers and forgot a 2.00 of coupon.

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one. Thanks for making me feel better. I did run back to the store today and I think I got it all figured out. And I did manage to get my $2.00 off my next trip coupon. So I now have my Post rebate complete--I think I got most of my boxes of cereal for $1.25 ea after the rebate. Not great, but certainly not full price!! And I got all my Delmonte stuff for free plus that $2.00 off coupon, so I guess I technically made $2.00 :D

Just this last weekend I forgot my coupons in my other purse! I could have saved $4.50. Yep I kicked myself in the butt for that. geez. I hate it when you forget to use your coupons and in this case, forget to bring them with you.

I have gone to customer service one or two days after shopping without my coupons and told them I forgot to give these to the clerk and they took them with my receipt. Granted I only had 3 or 4 coupns to redeem - but they were very nice about it.

When I do something like only buy 8 instead of 10 or don't buy the exact variety-like the cereal s sometimes only have 2 kinds tgat qualify in teeny tiny print- I make the cashier refund it and do the entire transaction over so I can get the freebie or rebate or use the coupon. You were just too nice!
