hello, i've recently gotten into a new hobby, wire jewellery design. i'm really enjoying it, and the pices are being produced in a very short period of time (less than an hour for a pair of earings, an evening for a necklace etc.) right now i am working in nickle, as samples and for practice, but i plan on making the switch to sterling silver and selling my creations down at the harbour and at craft fairs/ flea markets etc. i'm just wondering if anyone has made any money from selling crafts? my initial investment for the tools, books and supplies was around $140, but i would need to invest another couple hundred for the higher quality supplies. even if i don't make alot of money, it's a great way to de-stress at the end of the day, and keep me occupied in the evenings... thanks!

I try and sell cards and premade scrap pages. And now my mom and I have started our own candle/soap/lotion business. We sell our stuff on Etsy :: Your place to buy and sell all things handmade. It is a wonderful site for all homemade items. I would check it out if you are looking at getting more exposure. Your jewerly sounds wonderful! Good luck!

I have a friend that does very well selling at craft shows and farmer's markets. Enough that she completely remodeled her entire kitchen one summer. She sells a varity of items and is always looking and changing for new items.
