WOW! I think this was the best I ever did!
I usually do my big food shopping at Rednors, but for quick picks, I go to my closer, yet much more expensive Genuardis.
After mac'ing out some money to go to Rednors, I decided to first look around Genuardis to see if there were any really good deals since I'm a Club card member. (This wasn't an inconvience either, as my bank mac machine is inside the store). Boy did I score! They were selling "Buy 2 Get 3 Free" 12-packs of Coke (my favorite!!), Buy 1 Get 1 Free cereal and oatmeals. Plus, granola bars 2 for $4 (I only bought 1). Then, at the register, I completely forgot about a promotion that pharmacy was giving. Because I spent so much on prescriptions for my kids this past month, I got an additional 20% off. So, I spent $35.43 and saved $35.11! I never did that well.
With the money left over, I finished the rest of my big food shopping at the much cheaper Rednors. Since I was doing well, I had enough to stockpile a few extras. I'm so happy!!  |
