Does anyone have the option of shopping at stores that are associated with a certain factory that sells "not perfect" items?

A lady I work with gets 1 lb packaged lunch meat for $1.00 per package because her dd works at the factory.
Quaker Oats also has a store with discounted prices but it is for employees only.

Our local tombstone pizza plant sells their "wrong" pizzas to employees for $1/pizza!!! That would be nice. I have several friends that have tons of pizza in their freezer.

Years ago, their was a cotton mill in a near by town, and I can remember buying Lady Pernall sheets sets that were seconds, for less than half of the regular price. They also had towels & washclothes at a reduced price.

My Dad retired from the Campbell's Soup factory and they have an employee only store. Since he retired from there if we ever go by one we can still shop there. They sold overstock, dented, label mess ups, etc there. They would also sell fresh veggies that weren't going to make it into a soup. It was a pretty large store due to Campbells, Pepridge farms and Franko American all being their lables. My Mom did most of our shopping there and suplimented at the grocery store.

I sure wish we still lived close to the store. I would love to go there.

My aunt retired from Unilever (THE major toiletries manufacturer). She gets to still shop at their company store. She's not located near enough to make it worth my while to shop there but when she comes to visit, she brings cool housewarming gifts.

I used to work a Apple Computer and we had access to their company store. Good deals!

Right now we don't have access to any stores like that. We used to have a cheese factory in town but the company got sold and they closed the seconds store.

I work at AVON and they do have an employee only store. It's sad to say but I rarely go in there. ONLY because when I 1st started working here 1/2 my paycheck went to that store! So now I only go in if I need something.
