Has anyone else started to drive slower if you drive on the highway/interstate?

I don't drive very often, but when I do it's the speed limit.

I did know a guy who drove 120 miles round trip to work each day and he would start driving in the morning for his afternoon shift and only drive 40 mph. I know he saved money, but my time is worth more than that, lol.

I drive at the speed limit now as well. This has half to do with saving gas and half to do with the amount of police officers I drive by on a regular basis.

Yes! I used to drive 5 mi over too and now I'm pretty much always just at speed limit (also that speeding ticket I got a couple years ago probably helped). I use cruise control whenever I'm on the highway as much as possible as this helps gas mileage as well.

I drive the speed limit now too. My car get such terrible gas mileage and I'm rarely in a hurry.

I too also use to drive 5 miles over, I still do on occasion but I have really begum to watch it. My car doesn't get bad gas mileage, but the slowing down has gained me about 20-30 miles more per tank! Whoo hoo one up on the gas prices.
