I Love to See a Good Play ...
Dh and I Go to A Dinner theater Where Tickets are 55.00 Each

My 7 YO Wanted to Go see A Play .... and It Dawned On Me ( DUH!) To Take her to the Local High school Play.

We went and Saw Annie!

OMG it was so Good - Everything was Done so Professionally and the Actors Were Awesome!
And Here is the Good Part -
Tickets were only 5.00 A Piece!!

Apparently Alot of People Go for this Kind of thing Cause it was a PACKED theater.
Just Wanted to remind everyone to Check out High school and even Local playhouses Shows! They are Great!! And cheap.

My children's high school does WONDERFUL plays. My sil has taken her two grandkids the last two years to see "The Wiz" and "Cinderella". They loved it.

That is a great idea. Here they also have something called Playtime Poppy which are plays directed at children. The city is putting on High School Musical so we will have to take my oldest to see that.

I agree!!

My oldest DS usually acts in his HS productions (he skipped this spring's musical though) and we love going to them as a family.

The students are so talented!!

My youngest DD went to a birthday party and the mom took them to see HSM! They absolutely loved it!! The mom teaches at this particular school and the girls were able to get autographs and a group picture with the cast. They were so excited you would have thought they saw the actual HSM movie cast!!

Besides being cheaper entertainment, it's a good way to support your local schools!

We just attended our local high school play "The Wizard of Oz" They had 3rd, 4th and 5th graders play the munchins. My 11 y.o. neice was one. It was a blast. Great idea for a night out.

We love going to the high school plays and the comm. ed plays also. They are cheaper advanced tickets for adults are $5.00 and $3.00 for kids. The high school spring play is 'On the Air'.
