I have noticed that if one item goes down by a few cents another items jumps up about 10-13 cents.
I had to get some cereal and I about fell over at how much it jumped up. I haven't had to buy it for quite awhile because the last time there was a sale I stocked up.
I did find some on sale this morning at HyVee for $1.50 and I came home with a whole bunch.

WOW!! Milk for $.99 and $1.99 I agree that is where I need to be!!

I paid $3.17 at Aldi's for milke the other day, and they always beat by $.60 to $.70.

At most stores here, milk is 4.15 gallon, but Walgreens will sometimes have it for 3.49 on sale...and that's a great deal! I did get boneless, skinless chicken breast and cutlets for $1.88 lb. at Albertson's. I think it was last week and then this past week it was on sale for 1.99 lb. Albertson's here has a 3 day sale over the weekends (fri, sat, sun) that have great deals like that. At Publix and all the other stores, same chicken is $4.29 lb.

I've gotten some good deals on sale, but regular prices have only gone up here.

It has to be just your area! How nice for you - definately take advantage! Unfortunately milk is still $3.76 a gal ($3.28 on sale some weeks! ) Strawberries are around 3.98 I hope that your area is setting a trend that we may see around here soon!

Yes, I just noticed this today. Milk has gone down about 50 cents (from 3.99 to 3.49), and a few other staples have gone down a bit. The last several months I've noticed that grocery prices have been climbing, so I am very happy about the lowered prices. :-)
