Wearing your apron in the kitchen and cleaning can save your clothing (also when your feeding your baby!). I got tired of replacing my t-shirts due to stains. I'm faithfully putting on my apron when I work in the kitchen. I hope it helps to preserve my clothing and save money!

I've noticed over the last year aprons are making a comeback. Personally, I love aprons...and they truly do save your clothes...if you remember to put one one.

Such a good idea! I have no aprons, something bad happened to the one that I did own. So how many do you have?

The other night I fed the baby and, we were eating on the floor and his high chair was not involved. You should have seen me! I was covered in baby food!

Oh my!! That sounds interesting.

I have two aprons at the moment. I bought one at a country store in VT when visiting my SIL (about 6 yrs ago). The other apron was a freebie from Everyday Food magazine. I had a sunflower apron but it wore out. My Nanny (grandmother) always put an apron on me when we worked in the kitchen. I loved to run to the apron drawer and pick one out. I have one of the aprons I wore from her kitchen.

I was looking for a tablecloth and noticed Bed Bath and Beyond has some inexpensive aprons ($8)

I should live in an apron to save my clothes. I have got to be one of the unluckiest people. If something is around i will wind up wearing it somewhere.

An Apron would be a great idea in the kitchen though.

I love aprons. My friend sells southern living.. the stuff is pricey but on clearance one time i found a pretty one for 2.50 i monogramed my name on it. I love it. I also have made a few. I added pockets so i can throw tidbits from around the house as i am cleaning.. ( puzzle pieces, pen caps, etc).

I LOVE aprons. The last one I made didn't fit right and I haven't made another one to replace it. I think that will be my mission for the next couple weeks!

Oh I never cook without an apron for this very reason.

I found a whole bag of vintage aprons that a grandmother had handmade for someone, at a garage sale. Some go front and back and some are the little June Cleaver ones. I love to wear them because I like to just dry my hands on myself instead of looking for the towel. DH also likes the way I look in them
