I have NO idea what category this goes in so sorry if it's in the wrong place! I would like to order flowers or a plant online to be delivered to my MIL for mother's day. Any ideas of affordable sites? 1800flowers.com was pretty expensive, but maybe that is the standard. Thanks!

Have you thought about calling one of her local florists? They might have cheaper flowers and cheaper delievery

I agree with OP, I have found that googling for a local flower shop saves me money.

I use Proflowers.com. I have found that it costs pretty much the same if I call a local florist or order online. If I order online through Upromise, I then get money in my child's college account.

I love ProFlowers! They have the most wonderful quality...better than any 'local' florists, at least IMO. Great customer service.

They are all pretty expensive. I usually go with 1800 flowers, you can expect to pay 40-75 dollars by the time you have checked out because they add shipping and etc on at the last minute. I would try a local florist.

I have used 1-800 flowers but I may have ordered from Proflowers.com because I just got a flier from them and they have some pretty decent prices. The special prices are only good if you order at proflowers.com/catalog2 or call their 1-800# 1-800-598-3503. You can get 18 roses plus a vase for 19.99! and if you have delivered by Wed before Mother's Day it's Free ship!
