Our grocery bill doesn't even come close to our gas bill. DH drives everyday (to work) I drive twice in a two week period (sometimes 3 times) ~

current gas bill/month (give or take a few dollars) = $560
current grocery bill for 6 of us/month (give or take) = $410

Wow! That is crazy!

Dh drives ~25 miles to work(one-way) and luckily I only have to go around the corner but we spend about $350/month in gas..(maybe $400 in a busy month) Of course most of the miles go on our smaller car and we only use the SUV if we are going somewhere as a family.
Groceries $400-450 but that depends on how much pizza Dh orders. So relatively about the same but if gas keeps going up .....who knows.
