Not this weekend lol. My husband wants to take me to this really nice restaurant for mother's day, thats going to cost around $100 for the three of us.
I did tell him that I didnt want any gifts this year, unless they are handmade by my son of course.

We are. If I play my cards right, we just might make it all weekend without spending anything. I have 2 yummy new recipes to try for dinner tonight and tomorrow, ds has his last soccer game and party tomorrow, and my parents invited us out to dinner Sun. for a mother's day treat. My dh asked me what I wanted for mother's day and I told him I wanted him to take the boys to my parents' mountain house next weekend WITHOUT ME so that I could have a couple of days at home to myself. He said he would, so he is going to get the boys to make me a little card telling me they are giving me a weekend alone. That way I will have something to open and it will be a free gift. I can't think of anything I would rather have and the boys will have a blast with their dad -he has been traveling so much for work lately that they are in need of some serious dad play time. School is out in 2 weeks and I won't be alone for 3 months, so it will be a great way to charge up my batteries.

Well, I am being taken to lunch at Culvers on Sunday! After that, we are going to try out the metal detector that our family got from Santa! Finally, the ground is thawed enough to dig! :D

Saturday is a work day. I'm hoping to get my onions, potatoes and peas planted. That's frugal. Sunday, we'll be visiting my mom and MIL.

We are going to soccer Saturday Morning, but instead of stopping for a smothie and cinnamon bun I am going to make them!!

Saturday afternoon we have a swim party to go to -- I already gave the present to my niece on her birthday in April.

Saturday night one of my daughters is sleeping at a friends and the other is having a friend sleep over!!

Sunday we are going to church and then relaxing around the house together! Sunday evening we are watching a friend of ours daughter so they can go to a concert!!

I plan to spend very little this weekend!!

I'm planning on a pretty frugal weekend. I do plan to buy hanging plants for my mom, MIL, and DH's grandma, but that's all for the weekend, other than gas to travel to their homes on Sunday (about $20 in gas to make these rounds).

DH is working all weekend. I plan to stay home on Saturday and work on tax receipts (we are being audited YUCK!) while the girls stay at my mom's. Then Sunday we'll travel from my mom's, to my inlaw's, to DH's grandma's, and then home for a nice quiet evening of chores before I watch the finale of Survivor. LOL

i don't know how frugal it will be we have to buy a new lawn mower ours died(first the van now the lawn mower) we could use a new grill and i would like to take the kids and finish off what they need for summer. so not really all that frugal but it will all be paid with cash!

I hope its all frugal. I have to work saturday and since DH is working tonight he will sleep most of the day. DD is going for a play day with cousins and DS is going fishing with friends. Sunday my sister, brother, and I plan on cooking lunch for mom and having a family day with her. The lunch we have planned will be cooked from foods that we already have in the freezer or stockpile, mom like veggies more than anything else anyway. Mom tells us that a family day is greatest gift we could ever give her and it has been a while since we had a family day. She will have a blast snapping her photos and playing with all the grandchildren.
