Yes. Or I've occasionally passed on a good coupon to someone I know buys those things a lot (like Target's $5/toys coupon last month or a $2 CVS coupon to someone who mentioned she was stopping by there). But they look at me funny and decide that we must be in financial difficulties! So I give up.

For a while I shared with a sister and a friend. Then I started to feel as though whatever I said went in one ear and out the other. Now I keep it to myself unless it's a super deal.

I used to share with others, but I did get the feeling that they did not really care. I now only tell my mom.

I have a good friend who got me started on all this. I was just reading her blog one day and she had a link to a "money saving" type site. I got hooked and now I'm here!

I'm starting to share info with my mom, too.

Ditto. You'd be surprised at how many people really "don't have time" or act like they don't HAVE to save money. Or think that, just because you're trying to save money, you're poor. They just don't get it.

Frugal is being wise with your money and resources and cheap is forcing everyone else to.

No not really -- unless its a fantastic deal and then I share.

Most of my friends and family don't really care about saving money and fortunately for them money isn't an issue in their lives.

I don't volunteer information any more, as my family doesn't seem to interested in being frugal. However, if they are going to make a big purchase, they'll usually ask me to find the best price for them (especially around Christmas).

My inlaws are much more like me, and we share often.

My friends aren't too interested, so I don't share unless asked.

It seems like people do want to save money, but don't want to change their habits, imo.

I'm good at telling my daughter how to manage her money!

My friends know that I can save money and still live pretty good, so they are always asking my advice.
