I Am always Buying My Kids clothes- they are Just so easy and the Sales are wonderful.
Whether it be Gymboree , Target , Yard sales or A Thrift shop.

My Kids always have in style, Cute clothes and plenty of them -

Me on the Other hand , well I Have enough , But I Only Have about 3 shirts I Love , and Like two Pants that Fit Great and I Will spend Money on a Nice purse or a good Haircut. I just Don't Spend Much Time looking For Clothes for me.
I Hit all the kids sections And Stores First.

Now I Do know People who Spend a Fortune on their Own Wardrobe , And their Kids are In Hand me Downs and what ever Fits.
No thats not Bad in itself of Course I Know kids don't need Much ...
I Still Cannot Seem to Want to Look good while my Kids Don't - does that Make sense?
If I Have New Shoes , my kids Shoes Better Look just as Good , I guess , i Am Saying.
lol
Still i Know I Go Way Overboard with the million Great Deals I Find for them that Clothes them into Next summer. I Just Can't Seem to Stop.
I just Love kids clothes.
I Also Think I Am Buying Vicariously For My Teen Daughter Who Looks good in anything , and well I Would Rather Look at size 3 Jeans for her than Size 12 for me.

I love shopping for my kids clothes and it doesn't matter if they ar brand new clothing or second hand. I can find deals either way.

I use to love shopping for myself - back when my body was so much cuter than it is now. I think that teenage clotheshorse girl that i once was still comes out when I shop for my kids!

This is my family exactly!

For me, the kicker is that I hate to try things on. I can buy clothes for the rest of my family just by size, but not me! I used to go to a thrift store where everything was 99 cents. I'd just buy 5-6 pants, then try them on at home. I figured if only 1 fit, it was still a good deal and the rest I could donate back and get a tax deduction worth at least what I paid for them.

I'm really trying to get out of that habit and convince myself that I am worth shopping for in a proper store. That my new, slightly larger body, even though it is hard for me to try on larger clothes and take a hard look at what I look like in the store mirror, is still worth getting nice things for. That the parts I'm self conscious about will actually look better if I do a good job looking for the right fit, not just something that will stay up and is a year or two out of date.

This has turned into a bit of a pity party, but I think a lot of us feel this way. We deserve to look cute!

My kids clothes are way cuter than mine too, but here's the kicker...my 3 year old daughter has way cuter shoes too! Now why can't I find cute, comfy shoes for me? Fortunately I don't buy most of hers; a friend hands them down when her daughter's done with them. But still...I want cute shoes...{whine}

DD definitely has cuter clothes than DH or I. Personally I feel guilty if I buy myself a piece of clothing and not buy something for DD. I finally went and bought myself a new pair sandals for the summer ( I hadn't bought new shoes in like 4 years) I felt so guilty because I was doing it for me and not for DD ( we bought her sandals a few weeks before)....

My clothes are the most expensive of the entire family. Being a plus size mommy. I do not shop at all, unless I desparately need clothes. My kids have a lot of hand-me downs, but i still love to by them new outfits... they are so cute. Also my boys are so different it is hard to dress them in teh same outfits.

My girls have cuter clothes. I'm trying to get better about limiting them even if they are inexpensive.
