Any ideas for a June challenge or is there already one starting up in progress?

TIA!

I was thinking of a challenge involving saving money on gas. I was thinking of challenging people to come up with "no gas days" where they don't drive at all. Or for people to try and find other alternatives like car pooling, public transportation, walking, etc. Does anyone like this idea?

This sounds good to me! My DH & I just bought 2 bikes & a baby carrier so we're ready to go!

The gas prices seem to be on everyone's mind right now (it certainly has been on mine) so that makes sense to me!

I will be willing to try this one. We worked out that my part time salary - pays now for the monthly gas bill. Makes me feel sick!

I'll try this one as well. I used to work 34 miles from my house and I spent a fortune on gas. I now work part time and my commute is less then 1 mile.

Not too difficult for us.

We don't own a car. We live in a big city and use public transportation.

Since I am not working, I haven't been buying a bus pass for myself. I've been using my bike. My daughter still has a bus pass until school finished at the end of June. Hubby is a bike rider from April to October. The rest of the year is just to cold and snowy.

This would be hard for us because we live so far away from anything. BUT I didn't go anywhere on Friday. We just stayed home and hung out. That was fine for me!!
