I am jealous. I thought that I was good at saving with coupons but the mist I have saved is about $22 on a $125.00 bill! To me the 10% was worth it. I know that at our grocery store they have double coupon days on Wednesday up to $1 per coupon. I have never asked about multiple coupons for the same item. I actually thought that you could not do that. I am excited to shift thru my coupons now and for the paper to come in the morning. Thanks ladies! Hope to hear more tips from everyone and if I get any I will be sure to share!

I was wondering what you meant by the online coupons. These would either be manufacturer's coupons or store coupons, so I am confused at how you can use 3 coupons on one item. Is it is just an amount taken off the entire purchase?

Glad to hear that coupons are helping. My husband thought I was crazy to do the coupon thing, but I have saved about $20-$30 per grocery trip. I received some tips on one of our news websites here in CO. I clip every coupon that I think I may use. All grocery stores put items in the Sunday coupons on sale before they expire. Recently, Albertson's had Soft and Dri on sale for 10 for $10. I had 6 coupons for $1.00 off one. So I received 6 Soft and Dri's for free. I have been able to do the same with Hand Soap; toothpaste and a few other items. I just do a little research every week in the paper. It works!!!

Today I went to Kroger, and really tried to save. I have been watching the ads and then looking for coupons. Today my bill rang up to over $177.00 and I was about to die, then handed the cashier my coupons and Kroger card. I saved over $70!!!! I was so excited!!!

WHEW HEW!!! I like this feeling!!!!

That is great! Believe it or not, my husband is the Coupon King in our household. He used to spend a lot of time following the ads, clipping and organizing coupons etc... he also had savings like that, regularly. His favorite thing to say when he'd come home after a good coupon day: "Well, honey, they paid me to shop there today!" Sometimes he'd use so many coupons and rebates that he truly earned money by buying stuff at Walgreens! It was crazy.

He is sort of a retired coupon-er now. He has less time to devote to it and we have switched to more organic items, and 2 of our kids have food allergies, so we eat less of the things we find on sale/offered with coupons.

It is very exciting to be able to save that much! I never save that much, but I'm getting better. The last tiem I went out shopping, I went to 3 diffrent stores and saved almost $50 wtih coupons and sales. I always read the flyers and if its a REALLY good sale, I get my coupons out and get shopping! I do my main shopping at walmart but never save that much there. Usually only around $5 or so, but thier prices are already low, so its not too bad. But if I watch the sales, I can get items cheaper at other stores sale prices and coupons. Sometiems its fun to sit here and organize my coupons for a big shop, getting ready for the anticipation that we are gonna save LOTS.

After sorting and organizing coupons then making my list and sticking to it, I went to Supertarget today and did awesome.
My total came to 275.34....after coupons 151.23! I saved about 125.00!!!:D This is the best I have ever done.
You should have seen the look on the poor girl face when she saw all the coupons. My Target is great, they never question coupons...unless they don't scan.

I got a lot of frozen items from pillsbury...rolls,biscuits,cookie,dough, pizza dough. Yougurts, butter, eggos, pizza rolls, marinades, cat food, prego sauce, cereals, popcorn, betty crocker, duncan heinz, splenda, taco stuff, nestle chips.
A bunch of glade poducts, degree deoderant, sunsilk shampoos, tresseme products.
And much much more.

we are getting a target, but I dont know if it is a supertarget. welll that is at the next big town over, not here in my small town of 2000. Our store does double coupons though, but I have never saved that big, the most being about 5-10.00 but I rarely spend over 50.00 at a time either...

your doing great..
