Are you lucky enough to have an Outlet Mall near you? Do you find good deals?

It's spotty. First of all, it's near where a lot of illegals live, so the culture there isn't great, and the clientele is quite rude. But they have a Carters outlet and a Gymboree outlet, so I can get some decent things there. But, as with all outlets, some of the stuff is MADE for the outlet stores and isn't the same quality as you get in the name brand store. The Disney Outlet is a joke, including both quality and prices. I LOVE the StrideRite Outlet. The Things Remembered outlet is good, too. Therefore, I do brave it sometimes and venture in. I try to avoid Friday and Saturday nights, however, because the crime is known to be high there those nights.

We have a couple of them around here. I like a few of the stores...Gap, Nordstrom Rack, Nine West, Ralph Lauren....used to love Old Navy outlet but they no longer have those. I also love the Coach outlet.

Oh, I so wish we had the Coach outlet! The nearest one is in Palm Springs or Chino valley!

Yes! I've found some wonderful deals, but it is hit and miss. One time the leather store had many beautiful purses for 70% off the clearance price. I found just what I was looking for (backpack style) for dirt cheap. That was several years ago and I'm still using that purse. I've also found many great deals on kids clothes. Oh, and my favorite bra was only $7 at an outlet. Also I really like the Christian book store outlet...I have found many books and gifts, etc. there for great deals.

I find you have to really dig around to find bargains. Good stuff is normally snapped up quickly!

I have one close to me and then two others that are a little further, but not that far from me. It really depends dealwise - some things are great deals and others, I've gotten better deals at the actual store. Also some items are of lesser quality, so sometimes, I'd rather pay an extra $1 and get a better quality item, than get it at the outlet.
