Okay, so I finally got down what day I shop, and I go through the sale ads the day or two before.. and all is well. Or so I think. I got to 2 different stores to find out that their sales have changed.. One yesterday, the other today. COME ON! I missed some awesome sales b'c I got confused on which store's sale ended which day. Why can't there be a universal law that every store has to start & end their sales on the same day? What is the purpose of having one store run their sale from Friday - Thursday, another Saturday - Friday and another Sunday - Saturday.??? It just makes my life more difficult, as if I need anything else to add stress to it. I can't keep them straight. I remember I have to go to one store by Thursday, only to get there and not find anything b'c they don't restock -- it's first come first served. It miffs me so bad. I can't stand it. Guess I gotta start shopping on Sunday after church when DH and I usually spend the afternoon together. It's the only day that I have a car and can hit all the current week's sales at the same time, without having the stores be picked through.

I often feel the same way...I track sale prices at three grocery stores...two of them end their sale week on Tuesday...the other one is on Wednesday...I also buy some groceries at Target and their sales run Sunday to Saturday!!

I don't know where you live, but I live in Illinois and we have Cub Foods. They will give you rainchecks on anything they have on sale and are out of stock. I did this with the 4 for $1 on Green Giant canned goods.
