no ma'am. I"m sitting here right now, trying to figure out what bills to pay today, that are due in the next week, because I only got half a paycheck last week. My own fault, I turned my time sheet in too late, but still.....really opens your eyes. We'll be fine, I'll get that check in with the next one, but still....limits me.

This has been a really tight month for us too.

Our mini renovations went over budget and then our income dropped unexpectedly.

We never would have done the renovations if we knew the income drop was coming.

NOt the only one. I nearly had a coronary when I opened the American Express bill - I knew DH had been spending money on the backyard and putting it on there but it was still a shock to see it all at once. I had to stock up on a few things today as well but we will be eatting on the cheap this week that is for sure - the freezer/pantry could use it anyways LOL. But no you aren't the only one.

Me too! Our renovations went over budget.

We have a wedding to attend (11 hours away) next month.

We had to unexpectedly buy 2 new a/c units.

The a/c went out on my husband's car.

I bought a vacuum cleaner that I probably shouldn't have.

Oh I forgot DH's computer totally died - nothing on it can really be reused so we will need to buy a new one soon and I know his monitor was on its last legs as well so I am not looking forward to that - going to hold off as long as possible but since he is a computer geek not sure that will work - mine doesn't have enough power to do the things he wants to do (heck it complains for a lot of things I do do LOL). How long can a computer geek do without a computer LOL?

I am with you!!

Why is it that is always is soo much easier to watch the money run out the door than it is to bring it back in?? Lots of unexpected expenses but rarely any unexpected income!!

no, you're not alone. We had DD bday party yesterday & we need to put a drain in front of our garage. Property slightly slopes from roadway to house, so rain we got last week was laying on garage floor, pretty deep. DH wasn't too happy about that, but will fix it soon. Everytime i turn around lately, money keeps running out the door & i'm not fast enough to catch it. I hope things get better for all of us & soon. I'm going to pray that it does. Hang in there, y'all.
