The 3rd family led our Financial Peace University (Dave Ramsey). He left Indiana at the end of our class to work at the church he is presently at to help counsel families re:finances and budgeting.

He gets so excited about getting out of debt!!

So awesome since so many of us are drowning in credit card debt..I always think it's good to have one for emergencies just in cases, that you pay off in full every month!

My DH & I are on the Dave Ramsey Plan. We are new to the plan and are now on baby step #2. I am looking forward to the day when we get some of these things paid off and can get room to "breathe" in our budget. Our problem is not credit cards though. I think we learned that lesson earlier in life. Our problem is toys. We have DH older truck that is paid for, DH motorcycle tha is recently paid for, DH Big truck that we use to pull our camper with, the camper, my car, our new lawn mower(that I finished paying for last month), and we have helped our two boys finance a truck each and one of them finance a 4 wheeler. We have to be the dumbest people on this forum. I know my two boys will pay their parts but if anything happens, I am still responsible for that bill until it is paid in full. I will just be glad when it is gone.
