What frugal family fun plans do you have for this week?

-Vacation Bible School starts for my oldest for this week.
-Day camp
-Library story time
-Go to the pool. (We walk or ride our bikes there.)

VBS here to - current plan is for DS to stay later at preschool and they will take him over and I will pick him up after (this will save on gas money). The church also has free dinner every night afterward - may stay for that at least a couple of nights.

Hoping to spend some time decluttering the house while DS is gone since this is his last week of school. So hoping that it cools down a little as it is just too hot to be out in the garage right now it was 89 before 9 am this morning.

Hoping to spend a little time at the library reading magazines. Hoping that a couple of DVDs come in at the library.

The kids and I are leaving today for one week to visit mil. The boys will be going to VBS all week while we are there in the mornings and than in the afternoons we will do frugal stuff like going to the park, swimming in her backyard, etc. Should be a very fun time!!

My daughters Girl Scout Troop is taking a trip to Great Wolf Lodge (an indoor water park) and I volunteered to chaperone. I will have only two extra girls with me and it will be an all inclusive trip for us. Not to mention we are car pooling the hour drive with another family.

VBS for my boys M-F, and possibly a free air show on Friday night, and a park date Friday morning (for the baby). I do think my sister and I are meeting for breakfast one of these mornings, but I've already suggested a close place that has a good coupon.

Today we went to the pet store and for a 2 year old it is very like the zoo with all the animals only free and right around the cornor. After her nap we went to the library--that was a good hour long experience and another hour looking through her books when we got home. Tomorrow we are going to the neighborhood pool which is paid for in our dues and then we will get lunch free because I have a coupon--very exciting weekend.

My mom is on vacation this week and she will be doing fun things with my girls (no cost to me except to drive the 7 minutes to her house!)- going to the zoo, swimming if weather allows it and going to the movies (either Kung Fu Panda or the Kit Kettredge movie- we still have not decided on that one yet!).

All of our plans are frugal for the week:

Monday: our weekly trip to the local library, park, feed store and post office (3 1/2 miles away).

Tuesday: home during the day, Tball (3 1/2 miles away) in the evening.

Wednesday: youngest DD has a Dr appt in a larger town (30 miles away). Then I'll take the girls to Chuck E Cheese for oldest DD's birthday (Thursday is her bday but we are already in town today). I usually spend about $15 on tokens and snacks while there, this is a very special occasion and doesn't happen often. We may also hit Michael's (I have a gift certificate) and the bigger grocery store while in the area.

Thursday: Oldest DD's birthday...we may go to the local park or to visit my parents. Oldest will spend the night with her grandparents for her birthday. Tball in the evening (finally the last game! yay!).

Friday: Youngest has a VCUG scheduled at a hospital 30 miles away. I don't think we'll do anything else that day. My parents will bring older DD home in the evening.

Saturday and Sunday: we'll help my parents move into their new house.
