My daughters and I have gone garage saling every Saturday since the beginning of summer vacation. My girls are 3, 8, and 10 and they LOVE garage saling. Here's our deals for this week:

2 pairs 4T winter jammies $1 each
1 girls shirt $1
1 pair new with tag girls capries $1
1 flower shaped rug $1.50
1 small mirrow $2
1 wicker desk organizer $3
2 24 inch white floating shelves $2 each (EXACTLY what I wanted for our bathroom)
2 Disney Princess books $.25 each
1 set small plaques .25 for both
1 Disney Princess Jewelry box $.25
1 Cinderella Disney cup with straw $.50
1 NIP window paint $.50
1 brushed nickel lamp with pink lace shade and beading $6 (was marked $8)
1 boyfriend pillow $2
1 red moziac vase $1
1 never-been-used light fixture $3
Various free items including a pink sparkly belt with a butterfly buckle

Another great deal I found this week: a new looking Ann Taylor 60% silk sweater for $2 at Goodwill.

That's all I can think of for now. I spent around $30 this time but usually don't spend over $20. I've been finding kids pants for $1 and kids shirts for
$.50. I came home last week with a huge bag of kids clothes (several Lizzie McGuire items) for $13. One of our best finds this summer was a like new Schwinn bike with hand brakes for $15 (marked $20 but hadn't sold by 2 pm that day)

Since gas prices are so high, my girls and I hit neighborhood or community sales only. We park and walk around a neighborhood for a while. We usually go to 2-3 neighborhoods each Saturday. We take our own food and buy drinks for $.50 at yard sales. We can't wait to go next weekend!

Happy Yard Saling

Sincerely,

Corie

- couch -- EXCELLENT condition and very comfy. Dd is getting an apt when she goes back to school so this will be her's. She probably won't care for the floral print but she can deal with it.

- shiatsu messager
- silverware drawer organizer, for dd
- drying rack
- ironing board, auctioned with drying rack
- herbalist almanac booklet, dated 1939
- very small wire basket decorated with shells
- black wire bakers rack, for dd
- decorative oriental small vase and bowl

Hi all, I only made one garage sale this weekend but I got a really nice stool for my bedroom with blue and white toile fabric that matches perfectly. The lady then threw in a whole box of other items for free.
2 bottles of Mod Podge
4 decorative tin cans ( one with a music box in it and one old coffee tin)
2 pieces of fabric remnants
1 brown skirt
2 packs of unused cupcake wrappers
2 partial rolls of craft ribbon
A doll cradle for my daughter
and the stool all for $20.00
Although I only went to one sale I wracked up. I love garage saling almost as much as going to thrift stores. Can't wait for the weekend.
This was a really great deal but the best so far was a Singer Featherweight 221 in it's original hard-case for $20.00 It is in good working condition with only a minor musty smell in the box. They sell on Ebay for 300+ all day long.WHOOOO HOOOOOO

1 3T hawaiian print boys top (print almost matches the dress) for 1.99
**All three of these will make nice birthday gifts for my best friends daughter and son in Sept/Oct**

2- 4T short sleeve shirts for DS for free (it was buy 2 get 1 free day at Salvation Army)
1 2T shirt for DS

1 large nice wicker basket (for putting Christmas gifts together) for $1

1 large vinyl Halloween themed table cover for $1

Hi, new here.

I went to my neighbors garage sale a few doors down and was able to find shorts/shirts (12 items) all for only $3.00. They just wanted everything to go so they had dirt cheap prices. The clothes are all in good shape and mostly from the GAP.
