Shopping. Looking for great bargains, I consider that being frugal.

I am pretty new to this but Ilove the library. I love being able to request a book and getting it for free - sometimes takes a few months but it is free - same with DVDs - they used to charge $1 but dropped that a year ago. They are also getting so many more DVDS - used to be that the system would get a few and now they are getting a ton - I wait several months sometimes but with the cost of a rental these days it is worth it to wait a few months - especially lately as we have seen some that weren't worth the rental fee but we didn't know that before we saw them.

It's funny...when I used the dryer I would procrastinate so bad about doing the clothes, I just HATED going downstairs and washing, drying, and folding! But now that I've been using the line outside, I love to hang my clothes out, even though I know it takes me longer. I usually do it in the morning before I leave for work, so it's still nice out and the sun is rising. It's just peaceful. And then, there's the overall benefit of that can't be fresher smell of clothes that have been on the line all day!

I love going to the goodwill and library. Our house and closets are full of great things from the goodwill and no one would ever know I bought them second hand.

I also LOVE LOVE LOVE coupons! I love sundays, getting my papers, clipping, sorting and then off to get the deals.

Going to yard sales and buying stuff and using it or turning it into something else.

Like an iron wine rack painted white, hold towels for the guest bathroom.

Blue jeans are made into purses for my granddaughter.

Odd sheets are made into curtains and placemats!!!

Wicker waste baskets are made into pots for plants. Or unbrella stand.

I too love the library.

I also love coming up with creative homemade gifts that really mean something. When I can find or make a good, inexpensive gift I know someone will love, that makes my day.
