OUr library is terrible.

How do you find movies for your kids to watch for cheap? The twins are driving me crazy with Finding nemo and it is almost 100 everyday here in Texas. Playing outside in the afternoon isn't reasonable.

Check at video stores - most mom 'n pop ones have deals where you can rent 5 movies for $5 for 5 days or something like that. That's pretty cheap and would give you a variety to watch for a few days.

Go to redbox and see if there is a rebox near you. You can rent movies for just $1 a day and they have all kinds of movies including the new releases each week. We do this about once every 2 weeks to mix it up and give DD something new to watch.

Maybe you could talk to other moms you know in your area and do a movie swap.
A local drug store here where I live will have monday movie rentals for .79 a piece. Keep looking you will find a deal.

I was going to post this as well. We tried this at our McDonald's the other night as they are giving away a free rental for every large drink you purchase and I know we are going to utilize this a ton. Forget Blockbuster!

Have you heard of the regal theaters summer movie program

Regal Entertainment Group: Free family film festival

Regal is playing 2 free g and PG movies a week throughout the summer. on Tuesday's and Wednesday's.

It would get you out of the house and be a fun activity

Our Kerasotes theater is doing free kids movies on Wednesday and Thursday throughout the summer. I don't know if it's a nationwide thing or a local thing.

I feel your pain. Almost all the movies that our library has are on vhs and they are all so old and scratched that it is not worth bringing them home to try and watch.
We only have one movie rental place in our town. Mr. Movies-I believe that they do new movie rentals on Mondays for like a buck.
