I canceled it about four years ago. Once in awhile we think it might be nice just to set down and "veg" out in front of the TV and my husband sometimes has to get creative during football season but truthfully we have not missed it.

We do have Netflix and DSL internet.

We don't have cable. When we moved into this house I made the decision not to hook it up. It's actually kind of nice because we watch less tv. Plus the shows that I miss on cable I can usually watch online. It sure saves us some money though. The average cable package around here is $50.

We love our Directv!!! Dh and I almost exclusively watch SPEED and DIY and the kids love Cartoon network and Disney and Nick.

You gotta have some entertainment!

We talked about getting rid of cable about three weeks ago but so far we havent. I would be ok without it. Dh would take a while to get use to it. The kids would be the ones to go thru withdrawal. They dont watch it much, but they love Nick, Noggin and Boomerang (another cartoon channel)

Well, DH disconnected the DVR last week since the kids weren't behaving.

Although I missed my HGTV and TLC, I thought it was kind of nice not having the TV except for watching DVDs and using the Wii.

However, it was DH who broke down and reconnected it, so I guess I have to say that, yes, they would mind!!!

No, but I would!

I love HGTV and the food network! And I would really miss them.
