Dh would object. We have actually discussed it in the past and he says NO WAY is he getting rid of Directv. He has to have his Sunday ticket and all the sports stuff. DD likes it to, as she loves Noggin.

However, we just got our bill for the deductible that will be due before the new baby comes and the Directv may have to go after all.

We have been w/o it several times in the past several years. Dh doesn't have a problem with no cable. I do and the kids do sometimes. In the winter is is by far worse w/o it.

Sometimes I think we could and other times I think we would be very cranky. DS has a lot of DVDs but I know he still loves to watch tv. Currently there aren't any shows that I feel compelled to watch but I do put it on for background noise. DH loves his high def channels and sports so I think he would really miss it. If things got really tight though we would at least scale back but I know I would miss the DVR. We have a bundle with our phone and internet both of which we need for DH's job so it is cheaper to have cable than not if we had to pay for each of these separately.

We're moving in a few weeks and are debating whether or not we'll keep cable. We'll probably end up keeping it, but dh, the kids and I would be okay if it goes. We've done without cable before and were happy with a Netflix subsription.

We do not have cable and never will. I have a real HATE relationship with tv in general....we do not even think about it.
