We only have basic cable anyway, which costs $18.00 a month. There are two cartoon channels, and if I canceled it the kids would totally freak. I don't think dh would really care.

DH would flip. We even have one of the movie channel things (which one, I don't know). He watches it though. I just DVR the shows I like, and eventually get around to watching them.

On the other hand I have DSL internet, and he does not use the computer. So, if it came down to the two, it would be interesting to see who would "lose". So far though, it hasn't, and that point does not seem looming

Dh wouldn't even notice. LOL The kids wouldn't like it at first, but they'd be okay. They don't watch much tv, but the shows they do watch are on cable.

The little one is only 6months old, so no TV for him, and my DH and I just agreed to cancel this week! we turned it off on Monday, and I have to say I'm loving it ! I was the nervous one at first, but it's great. Since there is nothing to watch we get other things done and we talk to each other a lot more over dinner.

We only have basic digital cable and my dh was upset he couldn't see the NASCAR race last week on TNT. He also misses Deadliest Catch. He would be upset if we had no cable.

My girls like Disney & Noggin.
