This is one week that condiments, meat, and picnic foods go on sale. Has anyone found any good deals? Is there something that you stockpiled?

The local grocery finally had their 3lb frozen chicken breasts 4/$20 sale. Last year they'd had multiple runs of it before 4th of July, but this year, this sale is the first so far. I bought 4 bags and hope that I can go back and squeeze out the cash for another 4 so I have some stocked up at least for a little while. Who knows if they'll have the sale again..

I've been stocking up on Diet Pepsi 12-pks. Our local Food Lion & Rite Aid is running them 4 for $11 & buy 4 get one free. So that's 5 for $11 & at the rate we drink them, that's a bargain.

NO! I am very disappointed. Hamburger was the only thing that was really good, $1.99 lb. But hot dogs on sale were still 1.33! I was hoping to stock up on 50-75 cent hot dogs, but no luck.

I'm really disappointed here too. This is the first time in years there hasn't been great sales for the holiday.

We did get some bottled water (36 for $3.50) and 12-packs of soda for $2. (we have soft water, so can't drink tap water)

No special deals on meats and condiments. The few "sales" I did see are for prices that are higher than what I can get at my warehouse store or the grocer's sale prices at other times of the year.

No stocking up here.

I agree very few deals overall. I am finding that our weekly sales flyer seems to no longer have good sales - everything has gone up so much that what used to pass as "regular" prices are now the "sale" prices... frustrating...

only thing I saw was red grapes for .99/lb.

I stockedpiled on Bush's Baked Beans that were ons sale.

Also, my husband loves Pringles in his lunch and I found them for .88, and I had a coupon for them too. So they were less than .70 per container. I got 3.

Nothing to stock up on here. I did get a good deal on some country style ribs and may buy another pack and then freeze them. But that would be it. The last couple of weeks the sales haven't been that great. Hoping that I can find a couple of good sales soon - right now we are just eating out of our freezer or at least that is the plan for the next couple of weeks.
