I just got a GREAT deal on Gogurts for the kids, and I'm wondering if I can 'hide' them in the freezer so they don't eat them all at once. Does anyone do this?

The yogurt in plastic tubes? Oh yes! Kids love to eat them frozen, too. I'm not sure sticking them in the freezer will hide them from the kids for long.

YES and your kids will love them on those hot days.

It's also a nice trick to keeping stuff cold for school lunches or picnics.

Cool thanks! (Psst I have one of those freezer chests I 'hide' things in if I don't want the kids to eat them all up. LOL)

I usually freeze the juice pouches (capri sun) for thier lunch boxes, they go to day camp and have to have a lunch. The frozen juice pouch helps keep their lunch box cold and tastes SO good ice cold on those hot days.

We always store ours in the freezer. I mostly use them for school lunches and they thaw nicely by lunch time. If they want one at home, we microwave it for about 10 seconds.

This is GREAT! If I can score a good deal on these I will definitely stock up and freeze! When thawed do they still have the same consistency?

Oh -- freeze juice boxes? You can do that?????? That I would not have thought you could do.

Yah, its just juice. I usually buy the caprisun in the pouches and they make nice ice packs. Then the kids can drink them when they melt.

We cut the frozen yogurt tubes in 1/2 to make them last longer OR to let the kids have 1/2 of each flavor.
