I bought 3 rulers at Office Max that were only a penny apiece. I bought a compass for a nickel that I'll put in the stash for when dd needs one. Who said you couldn't buy anything for a penny anymore! (I made it out of the store only buying those items, too).

I'm getting ready to head there after work! My nieces & nephews will really appreciate the extra help with school supplies!

I did a similar thing at Office Depot on sunday - I got erasers, rulers, a protractor and 20 folders - cost me 32 cents with tax. It was so much fun.

I can't wait to see if they will have any more awesome sales like this.

that has to be a lot of fun, walking into a store, handing someone a dime, and walking out with 3 or 4 useful items.

Were they in the bargain bin or were they just normal everyday items?
