I have never been in one, but I have seen them. I was wondering if I could get a good deal on things like a Ninetendo DS and video games there? Is it worth the trip?

I have shopped them before and would again. I bought my laptop used from a Pawn shop and got it for half price. It was only a few months old at the time. I also have a tv I got from one too. I just choose my purchases wisely, but you can save money there.

My husband loves pawn shops -- they're a bit of a hassle, sometimes kind of run down looking (though they aregetting better) but you can find good deals.
